Who We Are "Bayou Of Blood" is put on by a group of family and friends who simply love Halloween. Though this is only our second year in San Bernardino, we have done numerous haunts in the San Francisco Bay Area and assisted with several Southern California haunts including "The Riverton Cemetery" in the valley and "Old Town Haunt"in Pasadena. No one involved profits financially...its all done out of pocket simply for the fun of it. What You Will See "Bayou Of Blood" is a good old-fashioned backyard haunt. The 5 minute walk-through will take you through both interior and exterior sets that include a wide variety of special effects. We don't try to make our haunts into simple gore fests. Our goal is to create a more family oriented haunt that relies on surprises to scare guests. Though parts of the haunt may include brief depictions of blood and violence, these scenes are few and far between. Who Can Attend Our haunt has no age restrictions, but parents are advised to be cautious with children who are easily frightened. Though the gore is not excessive, there are still a number of shocking surprises that may be too much for some children. We do have the ability to scale back the scare factor when requested, but this will not completely eliminate the frightening elements. We ask parents to use their own judgment in deciding whether their children would enjoy the event. Unfortunately, we can not provide wheelchair access for this years haunt. Though we are saddened by this, the layout of the property makes wheelchair access impossible. We hope to correct this on future haunts. Is It Really Free? Absolutely. There is no payment of any kind required. Though a donation box will be present, there will be no required donation and no one will be pressuring you to give. Its there merely for those who enjoy the haunt and what to help ensure that it becomes a yearly tradition.
