The Bayou Of Blood is a walk-through style haunted attraction. Groups are let in for a ten minute self-guided tour through various sets and passages where they will encounter a number of different scenes, characters and special effects. Actors portaying all sorts of devilsh creatures will be stalking guests at every twist and turn while a wide array of light, sound, and mechanical effects combine to form a show unmatched by most local haunts.

Smoke, strobe lights, blacklights, and other standard haunted house effects are present, so those who are sensitive to such things should use caution. Though there are no age restrictions, some of the scenes can be startling and may depict gorey or violent imagery with blood or other gruesome elements. Please keep that in mind when deciding if its appropriate for your child. A childrens tour is also available upon request. It contains the same gorey elements, but you will be escorted through by a guide and the scrare factor is greatly reduced. You can request a childrens tour at the Bayou entrance. Guides are also available to assist guests in wheelchairs so that they can manuever safely inside the event.
